Event Recap
Thank you
Dr. Bill Orlando and his crew of celebrity chefs
for hosting The Wagyu Beef Dining Experience on March 22, 2026. The event wowed the crowd at Chase’s Riverside Dining with a once-in-a-lifetime dining experience to benefit the restoration by raising over $20,000 toward the goal!
I would like to take a moment to recognize and express our deep appreciation for Dr. Bill Orlando and the extraordinary effort he put into coordinating and executing what has become the most profitable fundraiser to date for the restoration of the Massena Schine Theater.
This remarkable event “The Wagyu Dining Experience” was held on Sunday, March 22 at Chase’s Riverside Dining at the Louisville Landing Golf Club. Featuring Dr. Orlando alongside a talented lineup of North Country celebrity chefs, the evening was designed to benefit the ongoing restoration of the historic Massena Schine Theater.
Dr. Orlando devoted countless hours to every aspect of this event. From coordinating an incredible team of chefs to organizing waitstaff, bussers, and décor, his leadership and attention to detail were evident at every turn. He worked closely with local businesses to secure generous donations, thoughtfully reducing overhead costs and ensuring that as much funding as possible directly supported the theater’s restoration.
What truly set Dr. Orlando apart was his creative vision and ability to anticipate challenges before they arose. He consistently stayed one step ahead, solving problems before they had the chance to impact the experience. The result was an evening that was not only seamless and memorable, but also highly impactful for our fundraising efforts.
This event was more than just a success…it was a powerful example of what can be accomplished through passion, collaboration, and a shared commitment to our community. Dr. Orlando’s dedication has helped move the Schine Theater project forward in a meaningful way, and we are incredibly grateful.
On behalf of all of us working to bring the Massena Schine Theater back to life, thank you, Dr. Orlando, for your leadership, generosity, and unwavering support.
Sincerely,
Allison Smith
